Erin Merryn, creator of Erin's Law
Wisconsin is one of only 7 states in the US still to introduce Erin's Law, which strives to protect kids from and educate kids about sexual abuse through teaching personal body safety. Hope is at hand! If you live in Dane County, Canopy Center offers services to families affected by incest and child sexual abuse through our Oasis Program.

Dane County CASA joins Canopy Center as one of our programs!
Effective October 2, 2015, Dane County CASA merged with Canopy Center. This merger allowed Dane County CASA to continue it's important programming and share administration costs for things like an Executive Director, Finance Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. With a wonderful synthesis of program philosophy and mission, this merger made so much sense it was a wonder we didn't think of it sooner! Six of the Dane County CASA Board Directors made the move to the Canopy Center Board to continue to shape and grow the entire Canopy Center slate of programs. We also welcomed the CASA staff - Kelsey, Meaghan and Kim!
*Watch Channel 3000's "For the Record," featuring Cathy Cornell, Oasis Program Clinical Director and Jennifer Ginsburg, Safe Harbor Program Manager discuss how to keep kids safe.
